Porth Beach sits between Lusty Glaze and Whipsiderry beach and offers a great family beach experience in a safe and secluded area. The beach is easily accessible, has a huge expanse of sand and a fun river which travels down from the road to the sea.
Porth beach comes with a lot to explore be it rock pools, caves and is ideal for sunbathing. It makes the perfect destination for families with small children as there is a lot of play space for children. When the tide drops, you can see a lot of rock pools giving you a perfect experience of sea life. The blow hole is visible in mid tide and there are lots of photography options for those who love taking photos.
There are various scenic footpaths nearby that link to Watergate Bay, Lusty Glaze and Newquay town center via the Barrowfields.

There are several cafes which offer delicious foods such as local fish, fresh salads, sandwiches and ice creams. There is also the well-known Mermaid Inn which is ideal for a pub lunch.

The beach has a couple of different car parking areas so you can easily move around with your car. It is also dog-friendly.
